In the East Cape of New Zealand, nestled within the Raukumara Forest Range, the country's largest forest reserve, lies the Waikura Valley. Remote, pristine, far removed from everyday life. Here, our bees collect the nectar of the Manuka blossoms and transform it into our precious Manuka honey.
The Manuka-P plants, from whose nectar the honey is produced, are the only ones worldwide certified organic.

What distinguishes Manuka honey from ordinary blossom honey is the active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO). In Manuka honey, it is up to 100 times more concentrated than in conventional honey.
Unlike the hydrogen peroxide in ordinary honey, MGO – remains stable regardless of heat, light, or dilution. Therefore, its antibacterial effect is retained even after ingestion.
No other honey has been scientifically studied so intensively and has become so firmly established as a natural alternative in home medicine cabinets and specialist shops.
Strong and spicy, our honey can be enjoyed pure or as a sweetener.
We recommend letting the honey slowly dissolve in your mouth using a teaspoon. For throat and pharyngeal problems, we recommend 2-3 teaspoons per day.
If you add honey to a hot drink, allow it to cool down to lukewarm first. Temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius can damage enzymes in the honey.
Manuka-Plant bloom only a few weeks a year. Accordingly, the harvest of the precious honey is small. The low availability increasingly leads to counterfeiting.
Our honey is certified by bees that pollinated Manuka blossoms from the Waikura Valley. Worldwide, Manuka honey is classified based on the concentration of MGO in mg/kg, or by the so-called UMF values.. The "Unique Manuka Factor" is based on the special chemical composition of Manuka honey. We have our Manuka honey tested for its ingredients by an accredited laboratory during every production run.
