Manuka Oil from the Waikura Valley

Strong natural antibacterial effect

Due to the increasing popularity of Manuka Honey, Manuka Oil is also becoming increasingly popular. Our naturally pure, essential oil is obtained from the leaves and branches of the South Sea Myrtle. Ingredients that serve as natural protection for the plant can be extracted and used.

Application

Manuka Oil is gaining in popularity worldwide for use in aromatherapy, for skin problems, allergies and inflammation.

In its pure form, Manuka Oil is mainly used as a fragrance. Dissolved in mild vegetable oil (eg almond oil), Manuka Oil is used for external physical use, where the strong antibacterial properties play the key role.

The proportion of the antibacterial agent Beta-triketone is particularly high in our Manuka Oil. This makes it ideal for all kinds of applications.

Extraction

Our Manuka Oil and Kanuka Oil are extracted from the leaves and twigs using gentle steam distillation. Distillation is carried out immediately after harvest in the Waikura Valley. This means we can guarantee that the volatile ingredients do not escape and that our oil meets the highest quality standards. The oil is filled into pharmaceutical brown glass, which ensures optimal protection.
